Datri is a not for profit organisation started with a vision to support those suffering from fatal blood disorders. founded in the year of 2009, we are india’s largest blood stem cell donors registry with more than 3,97,000+ voluntary donors. datri is passionately working to give a second chance of life to people who are affected with various blood disorders such as blood cancer, thalassemia and aplastic anaemia, where a blood stem cell transplantation is the only hope. till date, datri has facilitated 530+ blood stem cell donations across the globe. datri works with 19 collection centres and more than 90+ transplant centres across the globe by facilitating the access to blood stem cell transplantation to the patients living in any part of the world. a healthy person between the age of 18 to 50 can register with datri as a donor through a simple cheek swab collection, which we will send to the laboratory for hla (human leukocyte antigen) typing before entering into the registry. we handle national and international donor search requests, and once we identify an hla-matched donor, datri coordinates the complete donation procedure including master health check-up for the donor, facilitating gcsf mobilisation, the collection procedure and transportation of the collected blood stem cells/bone marrow to the transplant centre. we are striving to increase awareness through various awareness programs.
