How time flies. 13 year have passed by since nomad was started - with a very clear plan. nomad will be rigid in its process but extremely flexible in its creativity. simply put, we wanted to put some method in the madness of our business. and it did. it helped nomad become one of the most sought after by new talents. directors, music composers, lyricists, directors of photography benefited and flourished in this unique environment and continue to do so. untapped talents like vinil mathew, lloyd baptista, lyricist amitabh bhattacharya (he had just written one song when we invited him to write the lyrics for a sprite commercial), and quite a few others became names to reckon with. though there are no official records of our many ‘firsts’, we knew the things we had to do to ensure nomad became trustworthy and accountable. we had to be known not only by the final product we delivered but also for the process we followed. this year nomad won two silver trophies and one bronze at goa fest. and our commercial for jetta won silver at the prestigious clio awards for best direction in 2011. as far as awards go nomad has been quite fortunate. we have won more than 40 national and international awards. on june 29, 2012, nomad became the first and only commercial production company to open an office in europe. set up in the beautiful city of prague, nomad cz is a joint venture between nomad india and prague based eallin animation- an oscar nominated animation company.
